At Benefit Commerce Group (BCG), employee wellbeing isn’t just a buzzword, t’s at the center of everything they do. As a comprehensive consulting firm specializing in Employee Benefits, Property & Casualty Insurance, and Retirement Services, BCG partners with organizations to create strategies that support both business goals and personal wellbeing. So, when their internal Wellbeing Committee began planning their 2025 initiatives, they saw an opportunity to lead by example.
In preparation for National Nutrition Month, the BCG Wellbeing Committee launched their “Nutrition Ambition Challenge,” encouraging healthier eating habits across the team. But they wanted to take it a step further by creating something lasting and collaborative.
“We decided to create a team cookbook to highlight our team’s favorite healthy recipes,” they shared. The idea was simple but powerful: celebrate the people behind the recipes while reinforcing BCG’s culture of wellbeing.
The cookbook made its debut at the company’s first-ever family picnic—an event where employees and their loved ones could connect beyond the workplace. “Employees and their families loved to see the recipes and were looking forward to trying them out.”
“CreateMyCookbook made the process so easy! Carly was diligent in her outreach to ensure we felt fully supported. The program was very easy to use, resulting in a clean and creative design.”
The cookbook became more than just a wellbeing initiative—it was a celebration of culture, community, and care. Through shared stories and meals, BCG reminded their team that health and connection go hand in hand.
